On Tuesday, June 4 and Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Virtual Reality lectures on medically assisted procreation (MAP) laboratory were held. The virtual simulation was developed by Matteo Sirizzotti of the LabVR UNISI Laboratory of Virtual Reality at the University of Siena directed by Prof. Alessandro Innocenti and was carried out in collaboration with Prof. Paola Piomboni and Prof. Alice Luddi of the Department of Molecular and Developmental Medicine. The lecture allows the reproduction of the main procedures adopted in the laboratory as an alternative training tool that, overcoming ethical and regulatory difficulties, constitutes a unique opportunity for the training of future embryologists, in a safe and controlled learning environment.
